On October 9, 2005 I, Fred Nance Jr., talked to Ms. Jenna Pilat, Constituent Relations Representative for Senator Barack Obama. I was informed she would contact the South Holland Police Department to see what response she receives from them regarding the issues I raised in my writings of September 9, 12, 15, and October 10, 2005 (as posted on my website). Look on my website for these dates to read the writings and allegations.
Ms. Pilat wrote me a letter, which states, "This letter is to acknowledge receipt of your correspondence to Senator Obama’s office. Thank you for writing. I handle such cases for the Senator, and he has asked me to respond on his behalf.
In reviewing your case, it appears that you have sent the same letter to multiple congressional offices. I am forwarding the information you have provided this office with to the Honorable Rev. Senator James Meeks so that they might better provide assistance to you. A second request from our office would yield the same results. We trust that his office will give your matter its full consideration.
Be mindful that it may take some time before you get a response. If you do not receive assistance within <60-90> of your request and would like us to pursue this matter or if we can assist you in other matters of federal concern, please feel free to contact our office again at (312-886-3506)."
Sincerely,
Jenna Pilat
Constituent Relations Representative
When we talked on October 9, 2005, I stated the following, "I contacted your office on November 9, 2005. Ms. Danielle answered the phone. I requested to speak to you. Ms. Danielle requested why I wanted to speak to you. I informed her I received a letter from you on November 9, 2005. Ms. Danielle stated she needed to know specifically what I wanted to speak to you about. I informed her it was about multiple issues. Ms. Danielle stated she needed to know what multiple issues. I asked to speak to her supervisor. Ms. Danielle told me “They are not going to do anything to me. I am an intern.”
Ms. Joan Currie-Leonard came to the phone stating she was a supervisor. I gave her the same information above. Ms. Currie-Leonard said you were not available and could she give me your voice mail. I requested Ms. Currie-Leonard take my phone number and have you call me.
Regarding Ms. Pilat's letter to me, I informed her that Senator Meeks and my State Representative David Miller have had my allegations since my first writing, which I provided Senator Obama a copy of in February of 2005, and forwarding my complaint to them would be useless. Therefore, I requested Senator Obama's office look into my allegations.
It appears I may finally get some relief toward a mental health protocol for Cook County Illinois and get an oppressive and nefarious police force off of my back.
