Announcement
BJA is requesting assistance in recruiting peer reviewers for the FY2009 Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program solicitation. The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) has a requirement that 25% of solicitation reviewers must be new reviewers to the OJP process. BJA is hoping you or your colleagues might be interested in serving as peer reviewers. Interested candidates should forward their names, contact information and resumes to Rebecca Rose at BJA at
rebecca.rose@usdoj.gov.
If selected to serve as reviewers for this grant program, successful candidates will be contacted by a Lockheed Martin representative, the Office of Justice Programs peer review contractor.
A formal peer review process is utilized to evaluate grant applications. Eligible applications are reviewed and discussed by a panel of outside experts in fields related to the subject matter of the program. The peer reviewers are provided specific guidelines to follow and small compensation for their time. OJP anticipates bringing on at least 15-20 new peer reviewers for this solicitation. If you have additional questions about the peer review process, feel free to contact Rebecca.
