President to proclaim National (but private) Day of Prayer The Seeker: "“We are disappointed in the lack of participation by the Obama administration,' said Shirley Dobson, chairwoman of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, who for the past eight years has attended a White House ceremony with her husband. 'At this time in our country’s history, we would hope our president would recognize more fully the importance of prayer.'"
II Chronicles 7:14 says "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin and heal their land." This is my Christian prayer for our country and our world. I have not heard Ms. Dobson and her committee offering prayers from Muslims, Jews, etc. Ms. Dobson reports she is disappointed with President Obama. Why? President Obama is obeying the rule of law, separation of church and state.
