Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) claimed vindication Monday after the Justice Department said it wouldn't bring federal corruption charges against him, six years after opening the case. He criticized the "criminalization of politics," telling reporters on a conference call: "It's no longer good enough to beat you on policy. They have to completely drown you and put you in prison and destroy your family and your reputation, your finances and then dance on your grave," DeLay told reporters.
