Productivity increases 2.3% in third quarter 2011; unit labor costs fall 2.5%
Productivity rose 2.3 percent in the nonfarm business sector in third quarter 2011; unit labor costs decreased 2.5 percent (seasonally adjusted annual rates). In manufacturing, productivity grew 5.0 percent and unit labor costs fell 5.1 percent.
