MSNBC and Gun Laws

Chris Matthews says: If you care about guns, call Congress now.
We have critical leverage on gun reform. Call your Senators now!
Dr. Fred,
Last night on MSNBC, Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews said the public should call Congress right now if we care about passing strong gun laws.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is deciding right now what to put in a gun bill. Rachel Maddow made this key point last night:

"If you were looking for a moment of leverage with your member of the Senate on this issue, this is probably the moment of leverage. While they're making the decision about how to move these things and in what order and piece by piece, this is the time when people hearing from their constituents makes all the difference."

Our action is needed now if we care about this issue.

Over 120,000 Americans have joined our campaign for strong gun laws -- including over 20,000 gun owners. You can join them here.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
