Please forward this info to everyone that you know! The Republicans, disguised as the HCP(Heritage Community Party) are getting richer, while our community suffers from an educational system that is failing our youth; totally inadequate youth services; failing economic policies and discriminatory hiring practices.
Just recently our Mayor, spent $1,320,000 of the taxpayer's money to purchase an inoperative lumber yard for "future economic development". The kicker is that there are no plans for development and the seller is his long-time friend and a member of the Republican controlled HCP. The current plan is to lease the same lumber yard back to him. This is crazy and definitely the tipping point.
Nineteen years a Mayor is enough.
Please come out and Vote Democratic on April 9th.
