Wake up America...Trayvon Martin tragedy...The criminal justice system frustrates justice...No one has suggested or emphatically purports that Trayvon Martin, a black man, was in fear of his life. Trayvon Martin was standing his ground to be free and mobile. Trayvon Martin was not committing any crimes when he was brutally murdered by George Zimmerman, a white man. George Zimmerman profiled Trayvon Martin, followed him, and provoked whatever conflict that occurred leading to the murder of Trayvon Martin. If not for the United States racial unbalance, biases, and overt discrimination, justice would have been met upon the death of Trayvon Martin. If we, as African Americans, are not going to get justice through non-violent actions as suggested by Martin Luther King, how do we change this society? Violence is not the answer and negotiating with a racist society is not the answer. What makes America think we are not subject to the Middle East experience? What makes America believe we cannot have an "Egypt" moment? Wake up America...
