ECONUNDRUMS YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL DILEMMAS SOLVED
THIS WEEK'S ECONUNDRUM
With 75,000 members, the National Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is the world's largest professional association for nutritionists and dietitians. It holds giant annual conferences, where members get continuing ed credits. It accredits undergraduate and graduate programs in nutrition science. In Washington, its lobbying arm is active on issues including childhood obesity, Medicare, and food safety.
It's also sponsored by some of the biggest names in the food industry.
